Alcomba SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Quico Rapado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Munoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Alcomba SD's Leszek Maciejewski got control of the ball when Mikel Silvestre tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Quico Rapado came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Alcomba SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quico Rapado couldn't finish the play. Fliz Torrente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Claude Baeza sped through Alcomba SD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leszek Maciejewski. In the 31st minute Quico Rapado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Munoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Typhon Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arenys De Mar FC's Rodolfo Munoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quico Rapado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Typhon Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcomba SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Typhon Barroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quico Rapado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rodolfo Munoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xove Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Munoz having to interfere. Rodolfo Munoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quico Rapado in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quico Rapado to strike the kick off in the second half. Alcomba SD were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Arenys De Mar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Belo Palencia took the corner. The corner ended in Belo Palencia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arenys De Mar FC's Rodolfo Munoz did a great save. When Walme Casta came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Arenys De Mar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walme Casta couldn't finish the play. After having played for 86 minutes, Quico Rapado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcomba SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quico Rapado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Typhon Barroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Munoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arenys De Mar FC's zone, Fliz Torrente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Munoz came out of the goal and Fliz Torrente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arenys De Mar FC's Rodolfo Munoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Arenys De Mar FC from getting a goal against them. The Arenys De Mar FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
