The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fran Barba during the 6th minute. Hustaz Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Hustaz Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Cabezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ebardo Aznar having to interfere. Fran Barba was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of La Fuencubierta UD booed when Carrasquero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fran Barba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, La Fuencubierta UD's goal looked a bit too open when Jaizki Cuadrado came free, but Amadeo Barro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Fuencubierta UD's Luar Palomar got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 28 minutes, Victorino Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Fuencubierta UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Cabezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ebardo Aznar made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Victorino Cabezas sent off a good shot on target. Ebardo Aznar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Cabezas in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Jaizki Cuadrado collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Treviño during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, La Fuencubierta UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Treviño to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Cabezas got free with Ebardo Aznar in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekhi Caballero charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekhi Caballero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Cabezas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Cabezas in the 56th minute of play forced Carrasquero's goalkeeper Ebardo Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Victorino Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Fuencubierta UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Cabezas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ebardo Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llorian Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Victorino Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ebardo Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Victorino Cabezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Fuencubierta UD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Cabezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Iratze Zamora with Iker Tobias as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 76th minute Victorino Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ebardo Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carrasquero's Iker Tobias got a free kick in the 84th minute. Victorino Cabezas took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ebardo Aznar. Ebardo Aznar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
