When Ceandro Saboya came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Toscana Nueva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceandro Saboya couldn't finish the play. If Dominic Barro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oxel Folch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Pareja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Dominic Barro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Saez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Toscana Nueva's Cayetano Sainz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Saez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Toscana Nueva's Oxel Folch got control of the ball when Goren Batuecas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th of the match, Bizen Pareja tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Oxel Folch got in the way and made a wonderful save. If Bibiano Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dominic Barro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Toscana Nueva were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominic Barro made a kick off. Oxel Folch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bibiano Leal in the 61st minute of play. Cayetano Sainz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Segundo Saez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toscana Nueva. After a defensive mix-up in Mairena Del Alcor's zone, Cayetano Sainz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Saez came out of the goal and Cayetano Sainz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bizen Pareja in the 71st minute of play forced Toscana Nueva's goalkeeper Oxel Folch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Saez was a little too slow when Cayetano Sainz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Ceandro Saboya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dominic Barro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Segundo Saez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Toscana Nueva defense, Bizen Pareja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oxel Folch. The Toscana Nueva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oxel Folch should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Toscana Nueva had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
