Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Albano Garate made the kick off which started today's match. When Albano Garate came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Atalbeitar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Garate couldn't finish the play. Luis Ledo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pericles Zurica. Pericles Zurica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Luis Ledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Albano Garate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atalbeitar's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Garate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pericles Zurica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pericles Zurica was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Luis Ledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Ledo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Atalbeitar's Luis Ledo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match, Albano Garate tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pericles Zurica saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd minute, Albano Garate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albano Garate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Luis Ledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Pozan De Vero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesario Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Pericles Zurica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Garate in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Faustino Prieto made the kick off in the second half. Luis Ledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pericles Zurica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pozan De Vero FC's zone, Albano Garate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pericles Zurica came out of the goal and Albano Garate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pericles Zurica having to interfere. Nicasio Gabas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Ledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pericles Zurica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pericles Zurica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Ledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Faustino Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pozan De Vero FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fonso Comas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Garate in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pericles Zurica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Ledo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pericles Zurica. Pericles Zurica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Albano Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pericles Zurica having to interfere. Pericles Zurica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Garate in the 87th minute of the match. Faustino Prieto struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Teodoro Vilanova didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozan De Vero FC. Faustino Prieto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atalbeitar's Teodoro Vilanova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Atalbeitar from getting a goal against them. Albano Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pericles Zurica having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Atalbeitar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
