After 5 minutes, Armando Orozco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gurb and the Vilma United CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Armando Orozco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vilma United CF's zone, Enaut Coello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gení Montiel came out of the goal and Enaut Coello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gurb booed when Vilma United CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurxo Bouzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Evelio Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huly Maroto in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vachon Comas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enaut Coello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gení Montiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vilma United CF's zone, Enaut Coello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gení Montiel came out of the goal and Enaut Coello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gení Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Orozco in the 28th minute of play. When Etxatxu Sevilla fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilma United CF's protests and gave Etxatxu Sevilla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Vilma United CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxatxu Sevilla to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Evelio Zamora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilma United CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Zamora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vachon Comas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Claudio De Silva fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurb's protests and gave Claudio De Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Gurb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio De Silva to maneuver through the defense. Vilma United CF's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 40th minute of the game, when Tacito santillana after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Gurb's goal. Tacito santillana was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enaut Coello to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Vilma United CF got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Vilanova. With his leg Gení Montiel managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Gurb's Enaut Coello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilma United CF's goalkeeper Gení Montiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Gurb's goal looked a bit too open when Huly Maroto came free, but Vachon Comas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huly Maroto in the 74th minute of play forced Gurb's goalkeeper Vachon Comas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Orozco took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gení Montiel. Gení Montiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Armando Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Zamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Enaut Coello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enaut Coello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Gurb could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vilma United CF throughout the match.
