After some careless play in the Idoate CF defense, Bibiano Solera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolomé Morcego. The Idoate CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolomé Morcego should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Rocafort De Queralt FC's zone, Nevada Fuente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Ladra came out of the goal and Nevada Fuente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salomon Nueva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bartolomé Morcego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galsino Vidal in the 34th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Idoate CF's goalkeeper Bartolomé Morcego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Galsino Vidal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Idoate CF booed when Rocafort De Queralt FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Padro Rivera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Padro Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nevada Fuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paco Ladra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nevada Fuente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Ladra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galsino Vidal in the 91st minute of play forced Idoate CF's goalkeeper Bartolomé Morcego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Idoate CF's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Rocafort De Queralt FC had won, even though Idoate CF had held more of the ball.
