Baltazar Tobias started the match with the kick off. La Rocha F.C.'s Aimar Carceles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save La Rocha F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Amado Solo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Tobias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Tobias in the 16th minute of play forced Giranes CD's goalkeeper Tito Dulce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Carlos Roig charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan-Carlos Roig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan-Carlos Roig hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Xavian Casals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aimar Carceles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimar Carceles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavian Casals in the 26th minute of the match. The corner led Giranes CD's Joan Turrilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Aimar Carceles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tito Dulce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Viejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Giranes CD defense, Francisco Viejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tito Dulce. The Giranes CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tito Dulce should have stopped the shot. In the 40th match minute, La Rocha F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosario Dorado to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, one of La Rocha F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Rocha F.C.. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Giranes CD's Joan Turrilla got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aimar Carceles. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavian Casals to make the kick off. Chan Viejo lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of La Rocha F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Giranes CD:s goal. Joan Turrilla placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of Giranes CD booed when La Rocha F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Manuel Taules in the 57th minute of play forced La Rocha F.C.'s goalkeeper Aimar Carceles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Giranes CD booed when La Rocha F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oxel Casals didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Giranes CD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Paulin Flores hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Juan-Carlos Roig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Rocha F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Carlos Roig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, La Rocha F.C.'s Francisco Viejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tito Dulce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavian Casals in the 78th minute of play forced La Rocha F.C.'s goalkeeper Aimar Carceles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Rocha F.C.'s zone, Jose-Manuel Taules stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimar Carceles came out of the goal and Jose-Manuel Taules tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Jose-Manuel Taules made a precise shot to the right of Aimar Carceles. La Rocha F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Manuel Taules in the 93rd minute of play forced La Rocha F.C.'s goalkeeper Aimar Carceles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose-Manuel Taules fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aimar Carceles having to interfere. Xavian Casals sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Rocha F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Giranes CD.
