The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciriñuela's Arias Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Saez in the 4th minute of play. The corner led Ciriñuela's Ekaitz Font to fire away a dangerous shot which Fermín Valcarcel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Geronimo Saez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Las Lomas's zone, Antonio Cuadrado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermín Valcarcel came out of the goal and Antonio Cuadrado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciriñuela's Dario Viqueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fermín Valcarcel. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Fermín Valcarcel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Cuadrado in the 22nd minute. If Alba Contratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Saez struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Arias Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Lomas. The supporters of Las Lomas booed when Ciriñuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Torrent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciriñuela's goalkeeper Arias Rivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dario Viqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermín Valcarcel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Viqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Arias Rivas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Saez went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arias Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Saez, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alba Contratas made a kick off. Geronimo Saez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arias Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alba Contratas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Lomas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alba Contratas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arias Rivas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Ciriñuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Torrent to maneuver through the defense. When Las Lomas's Alba Contratas in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Viqueira in the 75th minute of play forced Las Lomas's goalkeeper Fermín Valcarcel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
