Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Xamin Lagunas took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamin Lagunas in the 5th minute of play forced Melones CF's goalkeeper Kemen Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Melones CF booed when Torquiendo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tulio Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kemen Gómez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francis Alcalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Torquiendo's zone, Bittor Etxeberria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Bravo came out of the goal and Bittor Etxeberria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xamin Lagunas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kemen Gómez having to make a save. Xamin Lagunas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kemen Gómez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Alcalde in the 28th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Albert Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torquiendo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melones CF the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Torquiendo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Machado to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Torquiendo got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Palacios. In the 42nd minute Bittor Etxeberria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kemen Gómez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamin Lagunas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Melones CF's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Alcalde came free, but Kemen Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bittor Etxeberria to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tulio Reyes during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Torquiendo's Tulio Reyes got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Bittor Etxeberria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ladislao Acha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melones CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Acha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Bravo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Ladislao Acha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melones CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torquiendo the free kick. Eguzki Costa's late challenge caught a Melones CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eguzki Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Melones CF booed when Torquiendo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eguzki Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kemen Gómez was a little too slow when Xamin Lagunas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-1. Kemen Gómez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francis Alcalde in the 77th minute. Ladislao Acha hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Melones CF's Ladislao Acha got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ladislao Acha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Arnulfo Bravo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bittor Etxeberria in the 88th minute of play forced Torquiendo's goalkeeper Arnulfo Bravo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Xamin Lagunas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kemen Gómez, 0-2. Bittor Etxeberria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Bravo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Torquiendo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
