Hinojosa De Jarque's Aarón Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Munio Mata in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, CD Badajoz's goal looked a bit too open when Salbatore Rosas came free, but Alifonso Guijarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Badajoz's Alifonso Guijarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salbatore Rosas in the 8th minute of play. Felix Jurado might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alifonso Guijarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Jurado ran back to his position shaking his head. Xavian Guijarro got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 12th minute, Xavian Guijarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, CD Badajoz's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Jurado came free, but Alifonso Guijarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes CD Badajoz got a freekick which was hit by Fliz Paredes. Esteve Menendez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Salbatore Rosas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alifonso Guijarro having to interfere. When Hinojosa De Jarque's Felix Jurado in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Badajoz's goalie prevented a goal. Salbatore Rosas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alifonso Guijarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Ricart Sarro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Badajoz's Alifonso Guijarro didn't even have to move. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Vazquez to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Felix Jurado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alifonso Guijarro was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Esteve Menendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jairo Vazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Badajoz's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Vazquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aarón Marquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Sainz's late challenge caught a CD Badajoz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Sainz helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jairo Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to CD Badajoz getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Anartz Checa hit a great ball. Alifonso Guijarro came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hinojosa De Jarque's Felix Jurado. But to his dismay, Felix Jurado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felix Jurado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alifonso Guijarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
