The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anchel Arenas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anchel Arenas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Sebastián De Los Reyes booed when Liberri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anchel Arenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Liberto Valdés's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentín Cabrera was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute, Aitor Montaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liberri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tino Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iratze Galnares's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes, Error Idiaquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Sebastián De Los Reyes and the Liberri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Error Idiaquez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Iratze Galnares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tino Maldonado having to interfere. Alano Unzueta in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tino Maldonado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half San Sebastián De Los Reyes were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Liberto Valdés notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Liberri's Valentín Cabrera. Valentín Cabrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 57 played minutes San Sebastián De Los Reyes got a freekick which was hit by Frances Cuervas. Valentín Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liberto Valdés in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Liberto Valdés got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentín Cabrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hassan Lorenzo in the 73rd minute. When Liberto Valdés came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the San Sebastián De Los Reyes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liberto Valdés couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Liberri's protests and gave Ismael Montes a yellow card for diving instead. 78 minutes into the game, one of Liberri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for San Sebastián De Los Reyes. Máximo Huerta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valentín Cabrera. 0-6. Valentín Cabrera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when San Sebastián De Los Reyes's Liberto Valdés shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute.
