FC Scorpions's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gumersindo Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Adrián Castellano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lalo Perpiñán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frutos De la Torre having to interfere. Lalo Perpiñán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joan Rapado struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Frutos De la Torre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Scorpions. 20 minutes into the game, Felix Cifuentes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peon SAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Scorpions the free kick. Felix Cifuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Peon SAD got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Benito. Barros Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frutos De la Torre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Peon SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Perpiñán came free, but Frutos De la Torre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joan Rapado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barros Bermejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Peon SAD booed when FC Scorpions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elixio Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peon SAD's Frutos De la Torre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Peon SAD from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Peon SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Castellano came free, but Frutos De la Torre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gumersindo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Roca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Lalo Perpiñán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Frutos De la Torre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lalo Perpiñán in the 55th minute of play forced Peon SAD's goalkeeper Frutos De la Torre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmu Otero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gumersindo Roig firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Casildo Olano came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Scorpions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casildo Olano couldn't finish the play. Lalo Perpiñán might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frutos De la Torre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lalo Perpiñán ran back to his position shaking his head. Frutos De la Torre came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Scorpions's Adrián Castellano. But to his dismay, Adrián Castellano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lalo Perpiñán struck a weak shot in the 80th minute.
