Veremundo Jauregui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, UD Las Palmas Atco.'s Neron Andres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zosimo Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Veremundo Jauregui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Abad in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Xextosa Santa Maria's Xuaco Bacete got a free kick in the 24th minute. Xextosa Santa Maria's Zosimo Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Redondo in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Berto Estruch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veremundo Jauregui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edorta Campomanes came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the UD Las Palmas Atco. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edorta Campomanes couldn't finish the play. Juan-Francisco Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Valcarcel kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, UD Las Palmas Atco. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marques Alavedra to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Cordero Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Xextosa Santa Maria got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Azofra. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Neron Andres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zosimo Mata having to make a save. After 52 minutes of play, UD Las Palmas Atco.'s Edorta Campomanes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zosimo Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeru Alcalde kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zosimo Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Francisco Casanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, UD Las Palmas Atco.'s Tebaldo Acosta got a free kick in the 58th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Xextosa Santa Maria's Columbo Tarin tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Edorta Campomanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zosimo Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico España in the 67th minute of play. Zosimo Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edorta Campomanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Francisco Casanova in the 82nd minute of play forced Xextosa Santa Maria's goalkeeper Zosimo Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
