After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Dalmu Otero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peon SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmu Otero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zosimo Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Xextosa Santa Maria's Sergio Azofra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frutos De la Torre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Roca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Roca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zosimo Mata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Dalmu Otero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Marcos Roca put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zosimo Mata. In the 26th minute Marcos Roca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zosimo Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Peon SAD's Marcos Roca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zosimo Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zosimo Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmu Otero in the 32nd minute of play. Peon SAD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Cifuentes in the 42nd minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Roca to strike the kick off in the second half. Dalmu Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zosimo Mata having to interfere. Zosimo Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Roca in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Berto Estruch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zosimo Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Roca in the 65th minute of play. Dalmu Otero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zosimo Mata having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Peon SAD's zone, Berto Estruch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frutos De la Torre came out of the goal and Berto Estruch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Azofra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frutos De la Torre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Marcelino Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Berto Estruch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peon SAD's Frutos De la Torre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Azofra in the 78th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Pitin Alabern mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xextosa Santa Maria and the Peon SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Roca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zosimo Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Xextosa Santa Maria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Abad to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Roca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmu Otero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Zosimo Mata made a huge save. If Berto Estruch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peon SAD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
