The supporters of Puente De La Sierra booed when Wells Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Puente De La Sierra fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Puente De La Sierra's Angel Bermejo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nicasio Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Javier Gene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Samuel Naranjo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Quintanilla. Puente De La Sierra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Naranjo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Wells Union FC's goalkeeper Javier Gene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Duarte. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Bermejo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Gene saved Wells Union FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordeal Folch during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Cordeal Folch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Wells Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Iván Babia. Nicasio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Gonza Jareño almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wells Union FC's Javier Gene did a great save. Samuel Naranjo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Quintanilla having to interfere. When Puente De La Sierra's Angel Bermejo in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wells Union FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Naranjo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Puente De La Sierra's goalkeeper Uriel Quintanilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Bergada's late challenge caught a Wells Union FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Bergada helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Puente De La Sierra getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eugenio Bergada hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, Wells Union FC's Aimar Pabon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Quintanilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wells Union FC reached it. Baltazar Marrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Uriel Quintanilla made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Baltazar Marrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Quintanilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Javier Gene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Bermejo in the 69th minute of play forced Wells Union FC's goalkeeper Javier Gene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Gene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Javier Gene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Bermejo in the 84th minute of the match. Angel Bermejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Gene having to interfere. Angel Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Gene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wells Union FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
