The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gorka Macia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Perico Babia. The goal made the score 1-0. Cristobal Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Gregorio Merino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonanza and the Tumbo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gregorio Merino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Horacio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Coira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Babia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Alonso in the 24th minute of play forced Tumbo FC's goalkeeper Cortez Amorebieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gorka Macia struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Perico Babia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tumbo FC. 34 minutes into the match, Tumbo FC's Gorka Macia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perico Babia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Horacio Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Gervasio Coira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bonanza's Perico Babia. Perico Babia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Gorka Macia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Babia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorka Macia scored 3-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perico Babia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Horacio Alonso made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Bonanza's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Coira came free, but Perico Babia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nesto Alacuart's late challenge caught a Bonanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nesto Alacuart helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tumbo FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nesto Alacuart hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paquito Buenafuente got free with Cortez Amorebieta in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, one of Bonanza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Paquito Buenafuente in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cortez Amorebieta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Paquito Buenafuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tumbo FC's Cortez Amorebieta got control of the ball when Paquito Buenafuente tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Horacio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paquito Buenafuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perico Babia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gorka Macia, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Gervasio Coira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Babia having to interfere. When Gregorio Merino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. Gregorio Merino kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Perico Babia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Macia's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Gervasio Coira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Perico Babia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
