Vergaray Higuera didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pepe Talavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe Talavera struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tabor Galnares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cañadilla AD. Heli Gala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peyo Cabrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Heli Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Cañadilla AD's Inge Valines got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of UDE La Vall de Uxó booed when La Cañadilla AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Candela didn't get a good kick on the ball. UDE La Vall de Uxó's Heli Gala got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pepe Talavera came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the La Cañadilla AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepe Talavera couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Mariano Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tabor Galnares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of UDE La Vall de Uxó booed when La Cañadilla AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepe Talavera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tabor Galnares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Abascal went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 48 minutes, Pepe Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Cañadilla AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pepe Talavera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Abascal was the one to do the kick off. Tabor Galnares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepe Talavera in the 52nd minute. If Pepe Talavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peyo Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heli Gala in the 62nd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Inge Valines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cañadilla AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UDE La Vall de Uxó the free kick. After 63 minutes of play, UDE La Vall de Uxó's Antonio Muelas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peyo Cabrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Mariano Abascal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. UDE La Vall de Uxó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Mariano Abascal scored to the left of an out of position Tabor Galnares, making the score, 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, UDE La Vall de Uxó's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Abascal came free, but Tabor Galnares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tabor Galnares came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cañadilla AD's Pepe Talavera. But to his dismay, Pepe Talavera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in La Cañadilla AD's zone, Cris Quintero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peyo Cabrera came out of the goal and Cris Quintero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peyo Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Muelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Heli Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over La Cañadilla AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UDE La Vall de Uxó throughout the match.
