Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cecilio Valdivia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Basic united's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Valdivia came free, but Selmo Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, one of Elkano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elkano. Agapito Villanueva hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gerard Torrente struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Cordeal Bajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basic united. After a defensive mix-up in Basic united's zone, Cecilio Valdivia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selmo Barroso came out of the goal and Cecilio Valdivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Basic united's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Valdivia came free, but Selmo Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basic united's Selmo Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toli Olle in the 24th minute of play. If Cecilio Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerard Torrente struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cordeal Bajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basic united. In the 36th minute, Toli Olle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basic united's Gerard Torrente got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Gonzalvez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Toli Olle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selmo Barroso having to make a save. Cecilio Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gerard Torrente made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toli Olle got free with Selmo Barroso in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toli Olle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmo Barroso having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Valdivia in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selmo Barroso saved Basic united from getting behind. Cordeal Bajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Torrente in the 61st minute of the match. Benito Gonzalvez hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Cecilio Valdivia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selmo Barroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Toli Olle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmo Barroso having to interfere. If Toli Olle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elkano were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
