Tancredo Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Torrente in the 22nd minute of play. Casimiro Navarro lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Tancredo Rosario didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, ATAKE FC BADALONA's goalkeeper Tancredo Rosario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseba Carballido. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cilio Viqueira to make the kick off. Tancredo Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseba Carballido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cilio Viqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selmo Barroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cilio Viqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Tancredo Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Torrente in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Basic united's Gerard Torrente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tancredo Rosario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joseba Carballido took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tancredo Rosario. Tancredo Rosario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gerard Torrente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basic united's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Torrente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tancredo Rosario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gerard Torrente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerard Torrente struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tancredo Rosario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basic united. Basic united's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
