Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anxelu Leal started the match with the kick off. Mateo Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enol Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. F.C Palencia's Nel Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iñigo Caminero in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bero De Toro during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Albuñuelas FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bero De Toro hit a great ball. Mateo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enol Tormes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nel Orozco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anxelu Leal's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Albuñuelas FC's Anxelu Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nel Orozco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iñigo Caminero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xuaco Echavarri's late challenge caught a F.C Palencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xuaco Echavarri helped the player get up and apologised. Xuaco Echavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Mateo Vidal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabricio Canyelles. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Casas got free with Mateo Vidal in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Canyelles charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Canyelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iosu Marines's late challenge caught a Albuñuelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iosu Marines helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, Iñigo Caminero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nel Orozco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 minutes, Toni Barrios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albuñuelas FC and the F.C Palencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Albuñuelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Nel Orozco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enol Tormes to make the kick off. When Enol Tormes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the F.C Palencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enol Tormes couldn't finish the play. Pascal Casas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Anxelu Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albuñuelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anxelu Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Anxelu Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anxelu Leal in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nel Orozco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Anxelu Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nel Orozco was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Iñigo Caminero kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nel Orozco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iñigo Caminero in the 72nd minute. Iñigo Caminero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nel Orozco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Anxelu Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, F.C Palencia's goal looked a bit too open when Anxelu Leal came free, but Nel Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Casas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, F.C Palencia's Nel Orozco got control of the ball when Iñigo Caminero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albuñuelas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
