Campelles UD's Ereinotz Jorquera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciceron Bravo in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Alcoy's Ximun Macho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ereinotz Jorquera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ximun Macho got free with Ereinotz Jorquera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavio Cuervas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Sandro Mendez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Quinto Aguilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ferran Molina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferran Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Aguilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciceron Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quinto Aguilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferran Molina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Vazquez's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The supporters of Campelles UD booed when Alcoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ametz Pascual didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ulises Vazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campelles UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Vazquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferran Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kiko Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Vazquez was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ulises Vazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campelles UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Vazquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferran Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quinto Aguilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vincent Ledo charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincent Ledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Alcoy got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Ledo. A collision led to Alcoy getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Beltxe Arraz hit a great ball. When Koldo March fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campelles UD's protests and gave Koldo March a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Koldo March hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Cuervas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ereinotz Jorquera. Campelles UD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ereinotz Jorquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciceron Bravo in the 89th minute of the match. Ciceron Bravo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ereinotz Jorquera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcoy. Ereinotz Jorquera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciceron Bravo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
