The audience was convinced that Felix Belalcaraz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chepe Quijana was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 3rd match minute, Campillos Sierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Portillo to maneuver through the defense. Edur Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Campillos Sierra's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Belalcaraz came free, but Chepe Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Vedat FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Campillos Sierra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peli Carro took the corner. The corner led Monte Vedat FC's Peli Carro to fire away a dangerous shot which Chepe Quijana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 16 minutes, Anaya Prats made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Monte Vedat FC's Paulino Vacas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Monte Vedat FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ezequiel Acedo hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Anaya Prats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Campillos Sierra's Chepe Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Belalcaraz in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Leon was the one to do the kick off. Eliseo Blazquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Chepe Quijana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Eliseo Blazquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match Edur Rodriguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Vacas skillfully saved the ball. Monte Vedat FC's Paulino Vacas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Leon in the 68th minute of play. Anaya Prats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Leon in the 73rd minute of play forced Monte Vedat FC's goalkeeper Paulino Vacas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Leon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anaya Prats took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Vacas. Paulino Vacas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Paulino Vacas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaya Prats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Campillos Sierra fans cheered their team off the field, for while Monte Vedat FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
