Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Balazote CD's Cristiano Verdaguer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Verdaguer struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Felipe Ocaña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balazote CD. The supporters of Ermua AD booed when Balazote CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telesforo Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Telesforo Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balazote CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Telesforo Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Ocaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Llanos Torrent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ebardo Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cristiano Verdaguer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Felipe Ocaña to make any attempt to save it. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Balazote CD's goalkeeper Llanos Torrent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Balazote CD getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nazario Rapado hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Castellano during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felipe Ocaña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telesforo Herrera in the 27th minute. Ferrer Izaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Llanos Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nel Huguet in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llanos Torrent saved Balazote CD from getting behind. After 31 minutes of play, Ermua AD's Ebardo Ponte made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llanos Torrent was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Ignacio Castellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llanos Torrent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ebardo Ponte in the 37th minute of the match. Nel Huguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llanos Torrent having to interfere. Ermua AD's Nel Huguet got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Ocaña made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Telesforo Herrera sent off a good shot on target. The Balazote CD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ermua AD were winning 1-2.

If Nel Huguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Ocaña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Telesforo Herrera went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gabriel Quintero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Telesforo Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Ocaña having to interfere. With a little luck, Balazote CD's Llanos Torrent got control of the ball when Nel Huguet tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 minutes, Ferrer Izaguirre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ermua AD and the Balazote CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Balazote CD booed when Ermua AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrer Izaguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ebardo Ponte might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Llanos Torrent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ebardo Ponte ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Balazote CD's zone, Nel Huguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llanos Torrent came out of the goal and Nel Huguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kemen Abril charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kemen Abril the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kemen Abril hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Balazote CD's Llanos Torrent got control of the ball when Nel Huguet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nel Huguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ebardo Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llanos Torrent having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Balazote CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Rapado to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ermua AD's zone, Telesforo Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Ocaña came out of the goal and Telesforo Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
