Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Arxel Castelao came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Monells SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arxel Castelao couldn't finish the play. Llanos Torrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arxel Castelao in the 6th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Balazote CD got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Rapado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriol Sauca in the 7th minute of play forced Balazote CD's goalkeeper Llanos Torrent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llanos Torrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arxel Castelao in the 9th minute of play. Telesforo Herrera took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubén Casillas. Rubén Casillas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 16 played minutes Balazote CD got a freekick which was hit by Agusti Feliu. After 17 minutes of play, Monells SD's Arxel Castelao made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llanos Torrent was left in no man's land by his defense there! Llanos Torrent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriol Sauca, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Agusti Feliu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balazote CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monells SD the free kick. After 28 played minutes Balazote CD got a freekick which was hit by Agusti Feliu. In the 32nd minute Cristiano Verdaguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telesforo Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén Casillas having to interfere. Llanos Torrent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arxel Castelao in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Monells SD's zone, Cristiano Verdaguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubén Casillas came out of the goal and Cristiano Verdaguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Oriol Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balazote CD's Llanos Torrent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriol Sauca in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oriol Sauca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubén Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazario Rapado in the 52nd minute of the match. Arxel Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Llanos Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tancredo Ladra didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Arxel Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Llanos Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Balazote CD's goal looked a bit too open when Oriol Sauca came free, but Llanos Torrent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Balazote CD booed when Monells SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illan Durango didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Oriol Sauca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llanos Torrent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Monells SD's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Verdaguer came free, but Rubén Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Cristiano Verdaguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubén Casillas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ignacio Castellano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Arxel Castelao from a close distance when the talented Llanos Torrent managed to make a qualified save. Balazote CD's players were relieved.
