Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sindo Pascua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adalberto Delgado having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Santa Mera AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sindo Pascua fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Santa Mera AD's Breixo Bodelon got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederick Estrada hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Santa Mera AD's Breixo Bodelon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Saga booed when Santa Mera AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederick Estrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Saga's Adalberto Delgado threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dimas Caballero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Saga's Beltza Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Coello in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breixo Bodelon in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beltza Calderon saved Saga from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Mera AD's zone, Sindo Pascua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Delgado came out of the goal and Sindo Pascua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Delgado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimas Caballero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batista Coello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Breixo Bodelon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 played minutes Saga got a freekick which was hit by Lleir Lorenzo. In the 58th minute Dimas Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xinto Dulce kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Batista Coello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beltza Calderon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Sindo Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saga's Beltza Calderon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Saga from getting a goal against them. After having played for 79 minutes, Dimas Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimas Caballero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimas Caballero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Santa Mera AD getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nazario Patiño hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Saga's Pelayo Irureta tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saga! Beltza Calderon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederick Estrada in the 98th minute of play. In the 98th minute Frederick Estrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltza Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederick Estrada in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beltza Calderon saved Saga from getting behind.
