Tiburcio Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tabor Rivas's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Miguel Santander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Amuruza Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amuruza Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meder Dobale having to interfere. Nueva Atalaya FC's Nestor Lillo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Senia. Amuruza Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Meder Dobale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nueva Atalaya FC's Tiburcio Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mingo Vives in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Nueva Atalaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Lillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Roberto Ricoy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nueva Atalaya FC's Tiburcio Castro didn't even have to move. Miguel Santander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telo Mendez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Meder Dobale. La Senia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amuruza Acosta to strike the kick off in the second half. Meder Dobale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amuruza Acosta in the 52nd minute of the match. Tabor Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Amuruza Acosta made a precise shot to the right of Meder Dobale. La Senia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Tabor Rivas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Tiburcio Castro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Tabor Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mingo Vives in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in La Senia's zone, Amuruza Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meder Dobale came out of the goal and Amuruza Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Santander in the 76th minute of play forced La Senia's goalkeeper Meder Dobale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Mingo Vives got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tabor Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Miguel Santander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Atalaya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Santander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Miguel Santander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meder Dobale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. La Senia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
