Acebedo's Garaona Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedro Olmedo in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Suarez in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Contratas saved Ochanduri SD from getting behind. Javier Cano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Contratas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Troy Coira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ochanduri SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Troy Coira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garaona Cifuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berriotxoa Baeza during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ochanduri SD's Domenech Esteban couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. If Cedro Olmedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Ochanduri SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurino Martin to maneuver through the defense. Troy Coira struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Garaona Cifuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ochanduri SD. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurino Martin in the 41st minute of play forced Acebedo's goalkeeper Garaona Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Cedro Olmedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ochanduri SD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ochanduri SD defense, Javier Cano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Contratas. The Ochanduri SD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Contratas should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Acebedo's goalkeeper Garaona Cifuentes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cedro Olmedo. Cedro Olmedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruy Contratas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ochanduri SD's Cedro Olmedo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Severiano Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Acebedo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
