Xaiver Huarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th match minute, Ondategui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Portillo to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes Ondategui got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Portillo. In the 8th match minute, Ondategui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behe Nueva to maneuver through the defense. Salbatore Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Licerio Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Licerio Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaiver Huarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Amancio Morcego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julen Espinosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in La Ropera CD's zone, Amancio Morcego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julen Espinosa came out of the goal and Amancio Morcego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atauri Gonzalez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julen Espinosa having to make a save. After a rather tough play, La Ropera CD's Enaut Coello got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Atauri Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Ropera CD's Julen Espinosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julen Espinosa had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Atauri Gonzalez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Amancio Morcego took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julen Espinosa. Julen Espinosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Atauri Gonzalez took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Julen Espinosa to make any attempt to save it. Atauri Gonzalez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Salbatore Caballero took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Licerio Reyes. Licerio Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xaiver Huarte during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xaiver Huarte kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, La Ropera CD's Salbatore Caballero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Licerio Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julen Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Morcego in the 60th minute of play. Julen Espinosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Morcego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eduino Teresa fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Ropera CD's protests and gave Eduino Teresa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, La Ropera CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduino Teresa to maneuver through the defense. Salbatore Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Licerio Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julen Espinosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Atauri Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Ondategui were the better team. Ondategui's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
