In the 6th minute Florinio De Pablo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio De Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Nas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alins Del Monte:s goal. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Alins Del Monte. Paulino Carmona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ospin Novo. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Poli Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Liberto Verges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Alins Del Monte's Feliz Aguilar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ospin Novo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Poli Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nas and the Alins Del Monte players grew even worse after the yellow card. Poli Ortiz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Ruperto Novo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliz Aguilar in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ospin Novo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alins Del Monte's Liberto Verges got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Liberto Verges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alins Del Monte's supporters rose to their feet, but Liberto Verges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ospin Novo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauricio De Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florinio De Pablo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Alins Del Monte's Feliz Aguilar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ospin Novo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Nas defense, Error Justo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ospin Novo. The Nas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ospin Novo should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Florinio De Pablo made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Ospin Novo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Feliz Aguilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ospin Novo having to interfere. Pascal Lagunas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Liberto Verges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Ruperto Novo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Atilio Olmedo fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nas's protests and gave Atilio Olmedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Nas got a freekick which was hit by Atilio Olmedo. In the 70th minute, Ruperto Novo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio De Toro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Alins Del Monte getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Paulino Carmona hit a great ball. Ruperto Novo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio De Toro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nas's Pascal Lagunas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Nas booed when Alins Del Monte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoilo Iglesias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nas's Florinio De Pablo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruperto Novo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alins Del Monte supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alins Del Monte would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
