After a rather tough play, Puigpalter FC's Robustiano Solo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Tardade SD's Anatolio Menendez got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baudilio Sabina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alano Ricoy having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Anatolio Cambero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tardade SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatolio Cambero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alano Ricoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Tardade SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baudilio Sabina to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Puigpalter FC's Uzuri Mayol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benvide Rico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Uzuri Mayol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puigpalter FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Maximiano Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benvide Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiano Villa in the 24th minute of the match. If Uzuri Mayol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benvide Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uzuri Mayol in the 27th minute of play. Alano Ricoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baudilio Sabina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatolio Menendez got free with Alano Ricoy in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Borrás hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Puigpalter FC's Alano Ricoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baudilio Sabina in the 35th minute of play. Alano Ricoy was a little too slow when Baudilio Sabina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 41st match minute, Tardade SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebano Salazar to maneuver through the defense. Naike Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naike Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Naike Rico hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Anatolio Menendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baudilio Sabina to make the kick off. It was beautiful to see Tardade SD's Goiz Darroja in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Uzuri Mayol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Anatolio Cambero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puigpalter FC's goalkeeper Alano Ricoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tardade SD's zone, Sergio Borrás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benvide Rico came out of the goal and Sergio Borrás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baudilio Sabina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Alano Ricoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Borrás kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match.
