If Feijo Navas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feijo Navas in the 9th minute of play forced Calella De Palafrugell's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nieto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonsalve Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villarrubia's Haroldo Jareño got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute, Feijo Navas made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Nieto. Calella De Palafrugell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Villarrubia's Feijo Navas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Nieto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Fernandez in the 34th minute of the match. Villarrubia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aita Mala 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Amancio Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipo Delgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Villarrubia's Haroldo Jareño got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Aita Mala made the kick off in the second half. Feijo Navas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonsalve Reyes got free with Rigoberto Nieto in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aita Mala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Felipo Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Villarrubia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Bergada to maneuver through the defense. Villarrubia's Felipo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aita Mala in the 64th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Feijo Navas rounded Calella De Palafrugell's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 84th minute, Villarrubia's Feijo Navas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rigoberto Nieto. Rigoberto Nieto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villarrubia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
