The referee ignored Erandio's protests and gave Llanos Buenafuente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Erandio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llanos Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Porfiro Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Goi Esteban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porfiro Ortiz in the 65th minute. A collision led to Erandio getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Eguzki Ramirez hit a great ball. Adalberto De Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Goi Esteban. Erandio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th minute, Fonso Raya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gumersindo Ucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Erandio's goal looked a bit too open when Fliz Mayol came free, but Goi Esteban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-3 became the score in the 78th minute when Fliz Mayol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Benja Alavedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gumersindo Ucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Castillo De Garcimuñoz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Castillo De Garcimuñoz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
