After having played for 5 minutes, Jon Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaroja AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldovino Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Alarcon having to interfere. In the 9th minute Baldovino Bravo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Alarcon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Normando Muelas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Manuel Alarcon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Normando Muelas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Manuel Alarcon made a huge save. Nayely Aguilo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaroja AFC's Andoitz Pacheco. But to his dismay, Andoitz Pacheco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jon Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Villaroja AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gonza Rosas hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match García Urbina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Alarcon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Villaroja AFC's Jon Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldovino Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Alarcon having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Andoitz Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaroja AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andoitz Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Villaroja AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonza Rosas to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Baldovino Bravo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Alarcon, 1-1.

53 minutes into the match, Normando Muelas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Villaroja AFC's Manuel Alarcon. Manuel Alarcon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Villaroja AFC's Agusti Figueres got a free kick in the 57th minute. Normando Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Alarcon having to interfere. Nayely Aguilo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andoitz Pacheco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 64 minute of play. Nayely Aguilo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Martinez in the 68th minute. Andoitz Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nayely Aguilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaroja AFC. Manuel Alarcon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Muelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andoitz Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Alarcon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Muelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With an all-out effort, Villaroja AFC's Nayely Aguilo threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andoitz Pacheco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Nayely Aguilo managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Villaroja AFC's Jon Martinez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Villaroja AFC's zone, Normando Muelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Alarcon came out of the goal and Normando Muelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
