Damario Pastor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mendiola AD's Gualterio Hidalgo got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo Hernandez in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Villanueva saved Mendiola AD from getting behind. Cebo Torrent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porfirio Calatayud in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Oswaldo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Begijar CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damario Pastor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cebo Torrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Porfirio Calatayud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes in the game, Gabino Arenas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacinto Villanueva having to interfere. Gabino Arenas charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabino Arenas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Begijar CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabino Arenas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Mendiola AD's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Hernandez came free, but Jacinto Villanueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Hernandez in the 32nd minute of play forced Mendiola AD's goalkeeper Jacinto Villanueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 35th minute of the match Gabino Arenas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gabino Arenas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Mendiola AD booed when Begijar CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabino Arenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Damario Pastor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Porfirio Calatayud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo March in the 48th minute of play forced Mendiola AD's goalkeeper Jacinto Villanueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damario Pastor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Mendiola AD got a freekick which was hit by Elian Serra. 56 minutes into the match, Begijar CD's goal looked a bit too open when Damario Pastor came free, but Cebo Torrent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mendebal Marcos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mendebal Marcos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mendebal Marcos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Damario Pastor in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Begijar CD's Mendebal Marcos got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Mendebal Marcos off the ground. Mendebal Marcos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Bero Campello came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Begijar CD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bero Campello couldn't finish the play. Cebo Torrent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damario Pastor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo Hernandez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Porfirio Calatayud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Oswaldo Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Begijar CD players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
