With his leg Fe Encina managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Aeropuerto De Reus's Amado Lillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Aeropuerto De Reus's Plauto Crespo got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Tito Santiago came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Gurb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tito Santiago couldn't finish the play. Cris Dorado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Fe Encina skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Veto Macia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fe Encina made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Cris Dorado sent off a good shot on target. If Amado Lillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norino Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veto Macia in the 37th minute of the match. Tito Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Norino Toxeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cris Dorado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fe Encina having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Aeropuerto De Reus's Cris Dorado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fe Encina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veto Macia to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Adelio Calatayud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aeropuerto De Reus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurb the free kick. The supporters of Gurb booed when Aeropuerto De Reus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelio Calatayud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cris Dorado struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Fe Encina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aeropuerto De Reus. After a defensive mix-up in Aeropuerto De Reus's zone, Veto Macia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norino Toxeiro came out of the goal and Veto Macia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Aeropuerto De Reus got a freekick which was hit by Alfronso Zafrilla. If Veto Macia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gurb booed when Aeropuerto De Reus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antxoka Izquierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aeropuerto De Reus's Plauto Crespo suffered a concussion after 67 minutes and had to leave the field. When Gelacio Valerón fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gurb's protests and gave Gelacio Valerón a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gurb getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gelacio Valerón hit a great ball. If Veto Macia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cris Dorado got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fe Encina handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Gurb getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Teodosio Vilanova hit a great ball. Alfronso Zafrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fe Encina having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
