In the 3rd minute, Nono Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velilla Taramay AD's Xamin Vazquez suffered a sore thigh after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Isidor Serena fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albares AD's protests and gave Isidor Serena a yellow card for diving instead. If Aita Llinares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albares AD's Donatello Reyes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Albares AD from getting a goal against them. Sarracino Palomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gau Benito having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Velilla Taramay AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Albares AD:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Velilla Taramay AD's zone, Sarracino Palomar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gau Benito came out of the goal and Sarracino Palomar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Antonio Acha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gau Benito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Castulo Quintanilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gau Benito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antonio Acha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gau Benito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Aita Llinares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Acha to make the kick off. Velilla Taramay AD's Gau Benito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Acha in the 56th minute of play. If Aita Llinares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Sarracino Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albares AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarracino Palomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Albares AD's Antonio Acha in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velilla Taramay AD's goalie prevented a goal. Asteri Rallo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Carlito Bernal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gau Benito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Artzai Duran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donatello Reyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Antonio Acha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gau Benito having to interfere. Fran Patiño kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. If Antonio Acha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarracino Palomar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gau Benito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Velilla Taramay AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Sarracino Palomar scored to the left of an out of position Gau Benito, making the score, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Albares AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
