Dantel Arenas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Huarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. When Zeledon Zabalo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Vera SAD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Zabalo couldn't finish the play. After 7 played minutes Los Dines got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Griego. In the 8th minute, Vera SAD's Dantel Arenas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th minute, Mino Rajoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Huarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dantel Arenas in the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Los Dines defense, Zeledon Zabalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Huarte. The Los Dines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Huarte should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Zabalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Filomeno Huarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Dines's Madeo Griego got a free kick in the 24th minute. Filomeno Huarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dantel Arenas in the 25th minute of the match. Filomeno Huarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Zabalo in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Xulian Morado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Dines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Xulian Morado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Goyanes having to interfere. Filomeno Huarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Zabalo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Manolo Goyanes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hustaz Labarra's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Manolo Goyanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hustaz Labarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xulian Morado's late challenge caught a Vera SAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xulian Morado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Xulian Morado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dantel Arenas might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Huarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dantel Arenas ran back to his position shaking his head. Dantel Arenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dantel Arenas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Zeledon Zabalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Zeledon Zabalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Huarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Xulian Morado came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Los Dines fans jumped to their feet. After 68 played minutes Vera SAD got a freekick which was hit by Tartalo Rodriguez. After 80 minutes, Maximino Cardeñosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vera SAD and the Los Dines players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Cardeñosa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dantel Arenas in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Huarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Los Dines's zone, Dantel Arenas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Huarte came out of the goal and Dantel Arenas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Zabalo in the 91st minute of play forced Los Dines's goalkeeper Filomeno Huarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
