Pepe Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Archibaldo Cabrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emenon Cabezas came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emenon Cabezas couldn't finish the play. If Cheche Lozano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Espinosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheche Lozano in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Mugueimes getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Benedicto De Toro hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Cheche Lozano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cheche Lozano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswaldo Espinosa was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Mugueimes's goal looked a bit too open when Frantzes Cerreri came free, but Oswaldo Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mugueimes booed when Ores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimo Cañadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ores's Archibaldo Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estebano Bencoiechea in the 41st minute of play. Oswaldo Espinosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emenon Cabezas went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ores's Frantzes Cerreri got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepe Duarte was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Moisés Dean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mugueimes the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ores's Moisés Dean got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Oswaldo Espinosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheche Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Mugueimes got a freekick which was hit by Plauto Lorenzo. In the 93rd minute, Ores's Cheche Lozano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oswaldo Espinosa. Oswaldo Espinosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Emenon Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Oswaldo Espinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ores's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
