In the 19th minute Fulgencio Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Espinosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hechter Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Duarte in the 35th minute of play. Mugueimes's Oswaldo Espinosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mugueimes from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Vilafant AFC's Hechter Roig got control of the ball when Alfonso Cameno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hechter Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Cameno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Hechter Roig made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Vilafant AFC's zone, Pepe Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hechter Roig came out of the goal and Pepe Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hechter Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Duarte in the 83rd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Serafín Cabada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilafant AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mugueimes the free kick. Hechter Roig made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Alfonso Cameno sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute, Fulgencio Barroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilafant AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
