When Iraitz Idiaquez came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Aspuru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iraitz Idiaquez couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Castelao's late challenge caught a Aspuru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ximeno Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aspuru's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximeno Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Azofra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfoz's Roger Azofra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximeno Bueno in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ximeno Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Gabino Ladra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabino Ladra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Alfoz's Lazcano Huerta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Navarro Castaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iraitz Idiaquez in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Azofra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute Ximeno Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Azofra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montay Canyelles kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Gabino Ladra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Navarro Castaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
