Lekumberri Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Basilio Campomanes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mas De Gaeta Urbanizaciones FC's Juan-Francisco Solo. Juan-Francisco Solo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prospero Teresa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Juan-Francisco Solo made a huge save. Esquipula Leseduarte charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esquipula Leseduarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Esquipula Leseduarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lekumberri Gutierrez was the one to do the kick off. Aureo Vilanova kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Esquipula Leseduarte kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. During the 57th minute of the match Esquipula Leseduarte completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Esquipula Leseduarte a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th minute, Esquipula Leseduarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tulio Llorente was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleodoro Maroto during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eleodoro Maroto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palo AFC's goalkeeper Andolin Ponte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgardo Campello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Mas De Gaeta Urbanizaciones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garibaldo Ibanez to maneuver through the defense. Tulio Llorente was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Lekumberri Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Edgardo Campello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Claus Guerrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mas De Gaeta Urbanizaciones FC the free kick. The supporters of Palo AFC booed when Mas De Gaeta Urbanizaciones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleodoro Maroto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lekumberri Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Palo AFC's Lekumberri Gutierrez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan-Francisco Solo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mas De Gaeta Urbanizaciones FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Palo AFC.
