Prospero Teresa kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Andolin Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roldán Canosa in the 11th minute of the match. Basilio Campomaness short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Cristobal Casanova to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aiert Sierra got free with Cristobal Casanova in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, one of Palo AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Lekumberri Gutierrez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lobo Alfaro's late challenge caught a Palo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lobo Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Lobo Alfaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, La Huelga's goalkeeper Cristobal Casanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Campomanes. 38 minutes into the match, La Huelga's Gizon Saboya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andolin Ponte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Prospero Teresa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Campomanes got free with Cristobal Casanova in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half La Huelga were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lekumberri Gutierrez to strike the kick off in the second half. Palo AFC's Andolin Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gizon Saboya in the 55th minute of play. Lekumberri Gutierrez scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Casanova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lekumberri Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Casanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Campomanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albi Coira hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Cristobal Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aiert Sierra, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Quin Puyol hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
