After a rather tough play, Dombate AFC's Bernard Abajas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4thth minute of the game Patricio Reina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dombate AFC's Alfonso Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apoena Castellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Reina hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Patricio Reina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dionisio Vacas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Apoena Castellano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dombate AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apoena Castellano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apoena Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Buendia having to interfere. Dionisio Vacas in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amadeo Buendia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Patricio Reina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dionisio Vacas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Vacas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amadeo Buendia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apoena Castellano in the 43rd minute of play forced Sojuela FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Vacass short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Amadeo Buendia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sigfrido Segarra made a kick off. Alfonso Costa made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Patricio Reina sent off a good shot on target. Apoena Castellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Apoena Castellano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlo Prieto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sigfrido Segarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Costa having to interfere. A collision led to Dombate AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hurko Garzon hit a great ball. Alfonso Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Reina in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Dombate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Segarra came free, but Alfonso Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Rey Cano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apoena Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Buendia having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Gilen Gandia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sojuela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dombate AFC the free kick. A collision led to Sojuela FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gilen Gandia hit a great ball. When Dionisio Vacas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dombate AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Vacas couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigfrido Segarra in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Costa saved Dombate AFC from getting behind. Dombate AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
