Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fonso Ruiz kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Cleto Cordoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lope Amargo UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aberasturi the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Aberasturi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olayo Arraz to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Cordoba was shown his second yellow card after 6 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Lope Amargo UD getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cleto Cordoba hit a great ball. Alfredo Carro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fonso Ruiz in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lope Amargo UD's Freddy Bernal got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Aberasturi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aurelio Ruiz hit a great ball. Vito Casta struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Benigno Balboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lope Amargo UD. If Freddy Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Aberasturi's Fonso Ruiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Carro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Gilberto Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aberasturi booed when Lope Amargo UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Fonso Ruiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aberasturi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th minute Fonso Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Carro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gilberto Rallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Carro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gilberto Rallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aberasturi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Rallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Carro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Casta to strike the kick off in the second half. Vito Casta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Balboa having to interfere. When Vito Casta came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Lope Amargo UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Casta couldn't finish the play. If Vito Casta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Casta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fonso Ruiz in the 78th minute of play forced Lope Amargo UD's goalkeeper Alfredo Carro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Carro made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gilberto Rallo sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes Lope Amargo UD got a freekick which was hit by Eufrasio Medina. In the 91st minute, Gilberto Rallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fonso Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Hermenegildo Olle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aberasturi were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Lope Amargo UD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelio Ruiz took the corner.
