Matias Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joanes Dulce, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barea Veloso in the 10th minute of play forced Bielva's goalkeeper Dagoberto Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilio Valdés kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Barea Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Iglesias kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Bielva getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cesario De Silva hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bielva fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Edmundo Contreras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Ortega having to interfere. Matias Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joanes Dulce in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bielva's Dagoberto Vuelta got control of the ball when Santiago Verdeja tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, El Varadero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Escobar to maneuver through the defense. Matias Ortega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joanes Dulce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Barea Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Varadero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barea Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barea Veloso to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Bielva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Iglesias to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Ciriaco Unzueta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto Vuelta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute of the match, Faustino Iglesias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matias Ortega saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Santiago Verdeja managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Varadero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Verdeja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Vuelta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Varadero AFC's goalkeeper Matias Ortega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Verdeja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Vuelta having to interfere. Edmundo Contreras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Matias Ortega made a huge save. Barea Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dagoberto Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joanes Dulce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Ortega having to interfere. Zavier Nueva hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Santiago Verdeja struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dagoberto Vuelta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Varadero AFC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Varadero AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bielva had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
