Braulio Zurica charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Zurica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andoni Tobia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eron Nafría, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dolfos Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Fresnos in the 29th minute. In the 29th play minute Hugo Fresnos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dolfos Torres. 2-0. Hugo Fresnos struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Dolfos Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pla De La Font CD. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Dolfos Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Fresnos in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Hugo Fresnos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dolfos Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Llinars CD's zone, Hugo Fresnos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dolfos Torres came out of the goal and Hugo Fresnos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eron Nafría had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zabulón Palanques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Tobia having to interfere. Zabulón Palanques did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Andoni Tobia 97 minutes into the match. Llinars CD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
