Reynaldo Mayol hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The long shot by Dionisio Santander in the 19th minute really tested Jerold Reyes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pascual Barroso succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 25th minute Pascual Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerold Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Granja De La Costera's Eberardo Camacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Candela in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Lano Andres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nalec and the La Granja De La Costera players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as La Granja De La Costera's Pascual Barroso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerold Reyes. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. José Candela charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Candela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerold Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Regis Macho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56thth minute of the game Pascual Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nalec's Jerold Reyes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Regis Macho managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Granja De La Costera's supporters rose to their feet, but Regis Macho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerold Reyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Granja De La Costera's Regis Macho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tristan Olle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eberardo Camacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Urbina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberardo Camacho having to interfere. La Granja De La Costera's Eberardo Camacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save La Granja De La Costera from getting a goal against them. Regis Macho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Urbina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nalec booed when La Granja De La Costera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, La Granja De La Costera's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Urbina came free, but Eberardo Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
