Valentín Carballeira made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Honorio Bernal sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the game, Retuerto's Delmar Martínez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lekumberri Gene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Delmar Martínez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lekumberri Gene was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Amor Macho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipo Sánchez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Delmar Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Honorio Bernal made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Retuerto's Valentín Carballeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorio Bernal struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Valentín Carballeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guadalupe AFC. Amor Macho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amor Macho made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Retuerto's Felipo Sánchez got a free kick in the 54th minute. Valentín Carballeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amor Macho, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gomesano Mangas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Lekumberri Gene when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gomesano Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 61 minutes, Beti Marin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guadalupe AFC and the Retuerto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beti Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dantel Tobias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abundio Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lekumberri Gene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Martínez in the 67th minute of play. Delmar Martínez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lekumberri Gene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Reyes Zurica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retuerto's supporters rose to their feet, but Reyes Zurica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lekumberri Gene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Amor Macho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentín Carballeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a little luck, Guadalupe AFC's Lekumberri Gene got control of the ball when Gomesano Mangas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Guadalupe AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Martínez came free, but Lekumberri Gene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lekumberri Gene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Martínez in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Bernal in the 94th minute of play forced Retuerto's goalkeeper Valentín Carballeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Bernal scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentín Carballeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
