Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adriano Prats started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Santa Cristina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Machado. Delmar Aceves came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Cristina AFC's Zuberoa Mala. But to his dismay, Zuberoa Mala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Patxi Navas could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Dalmau Mera however easily saved by the left post. In the 12th minute Anibal Sirvent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Aceves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patxi Navas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anaya Carmona hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Adriano Prats's late challenge caught a Santa Cristina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Prats helped the player get up and apologised. Adriano Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Patxi Navas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmau Mera having to interfere. A collision led to Castellçiutat getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Toro Velazquez hit a great ball. Delmar Aceves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuberoa Mala in the 34th minute of play. Castellçiutat's Delmar Aceves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuberoa Mala in the 36th minute of play. Dalmau Mera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Prats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Sirvent struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Delmar Aceves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Cristina AFC. Anibal Sirvent might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Aceves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Sirvent ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Sirvent stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalmau Mera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Prats in the 55th minute of the match. If Zuberoa Mala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patxi Navas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Santa Cristina AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ray Ledo hit a great ball. Raúl Abrego charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Toro Velazquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmau Mera. Santa Cristina AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anibal Sirvent struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Delmar Aceves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Cristina AFC. When Zuberoa Mala came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Santa Cristina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zuberoa Mala couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Castellçiutat's goalkeeper Delmar Aceves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zuberoa Mala. A collision led to Santa Cristina AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Albano Cabrera hit a great ball. Dalmau Mera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Navas in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Prats in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmau Mera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Santa Cristina AFC's Anibal Sirvent ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmar Aceves. Delmar Aceves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Dalmau Mera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Azofra in the 94th minute of the match.
