Feliberto Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apal Velasco having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Ferman Garate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miñotos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferman Garate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Ferman Garate dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bautista Casado, 1-0. Feliberto Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Apal Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferman Garate in the 26th minute of play forced Azañon SD's goalkeeper Bautista Casado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Azañon SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Turienzo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Salomon Cayuela got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ferman Garate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bautista Casado having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliberto Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pedro Turienzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apal Velasco. Miñotos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Turienzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Agustín Caminero hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Apal Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Gonzáles in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Miñotos's Ferman Garate made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bautista Casado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salomon Cayuela took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bautista Casado. Bautista Casado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Silva during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Azañon SD booed when Miñotos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apal Velasco having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Pacheco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apal Velasco was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the game, Agustín Caminero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miñotos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azañon SD the free kick. The supporters of Azañon SD booed when Miñotos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Caminero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Miñotos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bardo Alcalde to maneuver through the defense. Bautista Casado came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Miñotos's Salomon Cayuela. But to his dismay, Salomon Cayuela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arotza Odín during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Arotza Odín hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Ferman Garate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bautista Casado was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Bautista Casado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Cayuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Salomon Cayuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ferman Garate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
